ABOUT THE
FOUNDATION

The Ryan Gordy Foundation was founded by Anita Thompson, Ryan Gordy’s mom and the Board of founding members. The Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the tools to empower young adults to live the best version of themselves. Through patient advocacy, wellness education, disease prevention, as well as promoting and modeling positive behavior, the Foundation seeks to inspire a lifelong commitment to wellness.

We are mommies and daddies on a mission with deep commitments to young adults who are impacted by cancer and who are seekers of a healthy lifestyle. Our “Wellness Festival” and “Chefs On A Mission Day” support our mission of empowering young adults. We are committed to supporting and enhancing young people by inspiring them with healthy choices while they’re going through treatments, through a variety of programs that support and nurture them. We’re dedicated to serving our communities through programs such as our 30-day challenge, hikes, cooking classes, healthy food shopping excursions and donations to make sure these young adults are empowered with healthy recipes, guided mediation, yoga classes, nutritional guidance and wellness education. Through these programs the Ryan Gordy Foundation is looking forward to building a healthy generation that heals the world.

The Foundation's signature event, The Wellness Festival, has been created as a celebration of Ryan Gordy's life, and to thank everyone honored and privileged to know Ryan for their support. This is an opportunity for Ryan’s legacy to live on through his passions for health, spirituality, mindfulness and entertainment.

He was also very independent and refused to be defined by his last name, he was always seeking knowledge through reading and researching everything. He was charming and the greatest impersonator as he kept us all laughing.
